Introduction
Considering the concept of ‘corporate governance’ heavily relies on the transformations related to the industrial revolution era and the establishment of large enterprises and the necessity to elaborate on the relationships between the pillars of corporate ownership, the board of directors, the CEO and other business stakeholders in the form of organizations. Over time, issues such as protecting the rights of small shareholders or transparency and dealing with possible corruption in the management of companies, gradually paved the way for the corporate governance to establish broader fields at the level of management of organizations, rules and regulations. Today, corporate governance has emerged as a powerful school of business management in the world. On the one hand, proper establishment of corporate governance creates and explains values such as responsibility, accountability and transparency leading to the balanced realization of all stakeholders; on the other hand, it can result in the sustainability of businesses and their social responsibility. Due to the significance of considering corporate governance in the country, Industrial Management Institute, as one of the oldest leading organizations in the development of concepts and training of the country's management staff, has embarked on holding the second international conference on corporate governance with various themes in this field, and has also paid attention to the establishment of the corporate governance system. This conference will be held on October 19-20 this year with the presence of international keynote speakers and internal experts in this field.
